I Have a Dream, text by Martin Luther King, Jr., forward by Coretta Scott King,
and illustrated by 15 Coretta Scott King award winning artists.  Scholastic,
NY, 1999.  A beautiful way to introduce children to this moving speech by
one of the most influential figures in modern American History.  Book and
jacket in very good condition.  
Bonny's Big Day by James Herriot.  St. Martin's Press, NY, 1987.  A
wonderful tale from an incomporable storyteller.  Book and jacket are in very
good condition.  
The Voyager's Stone:  The Adventures of a Message-Carrying Bottle
Adrift on the Ocean Sea.  
Text by Robert Kraske, illustrated by Brian Floca.  
Orchard Books, NY, 1995.  A bottle containing a message and a stone drift
across the ocean and encounter many wondrous sea creatures before
landing on a distant shore, where the secret of the voyager's stone is
revealed.  Book is in very good condition, no jacket.  
Slobcat by Paul Geraghty.  Macmillan, NY, 1991.  His family thinks he's the
laziest cat in the world.  But is he?  No jacket.  The book is in very good
Alexander, Who's Not (Do you hear me?  I mean it) Going to Move.  Text by
Judith Viorst, illustrated by Robin Glasser.  Antheum, NY, 1995.  Alexander
decides to move in with the neighbors or live on his own rather than move
with his family.  A great book for children facing the challenge of moving.  
Book and jacket are in very good condition.
Trouble Dolls.  Text by Jimmy Buffett and Savannah Jane Buffett, illustrated
by Lambert Davis.  Harcourt, Brace, Jovanovich, NY, 1991.  When Lizzie
Rhinehart's father is lost in the Everglades, she relies on her golden
retriever, Guatemalean trouble dolls, and a magic macaw to save him
before a big storm hits.  No jacket.  The book is in good condition.
